Battlefield Inn Springfield

The room was clean, but parts of the floor felt really soft. I avoided stepping in the areas just in case.

Broken bathroom door and shower curtain, loud people above us all hours of the day, people outside our door late hours and trying to enter our room, no insulation in room, heater was loud and ineffective, unfinished baseboards. My reservation was not even looked up or used, we were charged more than reservation and asked to pay cash. Did not match my expectations and was not friendly. Was also not friendly or helpful when we brought these issues to their attention. Stay away!! I did not feel safe. If I had my children with me I would have left immediately.

The rate was very good for Christmas Eve. While old, the room was clean with only normal wear of some fixtures. All basic amenities were included.

First off, I wanted to locate the place when I got to town, about 1:30. As long as I was there I inquired about early check in. I was welcome to check in early, for an extra $20. Otherwise check in was 3:30. Okay, can't figure why someone would shell out for an extra two hours, so wth would you gain from that except malicious satisfaction? Also, the HVAC unit is mounted above the vanity for some reason. I'm 4'11" with mobility issues, also changing the temperature 4°F plunged the room from overly warm to shivering cold. Overall, I got a night's sleep, just wasn't the best experience.

Terrible. This is a lie it’s 110 a night with a deposit and it is not worth it. It’s ran by Akbar and family and you can kiss that deposit goodbye no matter what. Rooms are smelly and lice infested. The place is overrun by crackheads and mentally ill homeless people. I recommend another one, any other one
