Sleep Inn & Suites Harrisburg - Hershey Southwest

Everything was great. The only thing that was not good was there was black mold in the bathroom.

The room was dirty and full of ants.

The price was good, the room was clean and we were able to check in early. The night after we checked out, someone called us to see if we left a jacket in our room. It was not ours so I am not sure if it was in the room while we were there or not since we were barely in the room and did not open the closet or anything, but it was nice that they called and the associate who called me was very sweet.

The housekeepers opened the door on us at 10am, check out is at 11am. My boyfriend was in the shower and I was doing my makeup as someone knocked on the door while trying the key. I yelled that were in here but they must not have heard me, only as they had the door open did they hear me yell we were still in the room. I did not have the do not disturb sign on the door, but I feel like that only needs to be hung if you're staying another night and you don't want them to come in and replace towels. If you're checking out that day I would assume they would refrain from trying to clean an occupied room unless it was confirmed the guest has checked out already. It was a bit unsettling as we could have been naked.

The pool was well maintained, the rooms were really nice. We had a microwave and mini fridge. The breakfast was decent. there are some really good places to grab food walking distance from the hotel also.

I wish they had a hot tub, and a bigger gym in pool. There was a large family staying there and the kids were crazy in the pool so we decided to go back to our room. That's not the hotels fault, though.

Room had a strong smell of curry at check in. There was hair in the shower and stains on bedding. We could hear other customers through the walls. Overall, ok for a quick stay but would not have wanted to stay more than 1 night.

Air conditioner cover fell off while we were sleeping and scared everyone. People were slamming doors and it was loud

I was at an event that wasn’t over u til after 11pm. By the time we got to the hotel it was almost midnight. The front desk attendant assured me that my room would still be available no matter what time. The hotel was full! She was very friendly and checked us in quickly. I wish I had gotten her name! She was awesome. Our room was very clean! The bed was comfortable and it had everything that was promised. The bathroom could use a bit of a make over but it was clean!!
