White Mountain Hotel and Resort

Everyone was polite, happy and informative. The food was great. The view, outstanding. The room was very clean. Also, the staff had a great sense of humor.

The checking in process was delightful. The staff answered all our questions . The breakfast was delicious and they were very accommodating. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Staff very friendly. I would definitely be back next year.

The bathroom had been used. The patrons in the bar, adjacent to the restaurant, were extremely loud and obnoxious.

We did not stay at the hotel this year but we did stop at the bar for drinks because we love it there so much we just had to go for a visit while we were in town for shopping. Eric and Jess were both so sweet and kind! They were quick to greet us and serve us. We had great conversations about the area and the hotel. We will be back for a stay. We have stayed many times in the past as well.

we only stayed one night but the hotel property was lovely, the food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff were attentive and professional. Would definitely stay again. The hiking options to the Ledges right outside the parking lot were especially convenient.

Our stay at the White Mountain Hotel and Resort exceeded our expectations. I loved the opportunity to stay additional nights for a discounted price and wish we were able to seize this opportunity but schedules didn't work for us. While the hotel was somewhat remote and we made a few wrong turns, I trust we would have figured it out........ I also loved the pantry with easy access to grab a cup of coffee. We did have a disadvantage with views of the of the area from our room because it looked out onto the portico.

I can usually find lots of small imperfections in just about any hotel but this one is nearly perfect. Check in was pleasant, the lobby is beautiful and inviting, and the location is quite good. The room was large, the bed comfortable, the TV and internet worked perfectly and there were plenty of outlets. It looked like an older building in which nearly everything was recently refurbed and with high quality materials. One thing most hotels get wrong is the lighting especially in the bathroom but not here - every fixture was elegant, functional and well placed. The views from front facing rooms and from the restaurant were simply wonderful. The pool area was cozy and comfortable and there was even seating under a roof to provide shade if needed. The food and service in the restaurant (we only tried breakfast) were as good as it gets. The hotel was fairly busy but the room and hallways were so quiet that you would have thought that you were the only guests. Everything showed good attention to detail. Two extremely minor quibbles - the bath towels were a little on the small side and a high back desk chair would have been much more comfortable. Other than those tiny things, this is as close to a perfect hotel experience as you are ever likely to find. Will find a reason to stay here again.
