White Mountain Hotel and Resort

Went up to the White Mountains to do some Christmas shopping and the place warned us that their restaurant and bar would be closed for a private event so we had to search for another hotel. Well we have been to the White Mountain Hotel & Resort not to long ago and after reading the reviews we knew this was the place. As soon as you walk in you feel like everyone there is family and they are really happy to see you. The woman checking us in that late afternoon had some laughs with us and wasn't overly business. The room, clean and up to date. The bed was perfect, sheets, blankets, pillows and all. The bathroom was spotless and everything looked brand new. We also went down stairs to the bar to order some food for the room. It was close to shut off time but everything hit the spot. Breakfast wasn't that bad. The Blueberry Pancakes I had were perfect, not a lot of fluff and air. This place is right by Cathedral Ledge and off the beaten path. In just a few minutes you are in the heart of Conway. We will be back and this Hotel will be on our list of top 3 to stay when we are in this area of the White Mountains. Again this place is amazingly clean and everyone was and has been in the past great to deal with.

We stayed at the White Mountain Hotel and Resort for our 20th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, and Catherine went above and beyond to help me arrange a vow renewal in the gazebo with a local Justice of the Peace, who also did an amazing job. My wife had no idea what I had planned and the staff at White Mountain Hotel helped turn a surprise into a cherished memory. Our suite was clean and well appointed with a nice view. We had dinner in the pub the first night, the food was tasty and came fast and hot. Breakfast Saturday was also very good. But the real prize was dinner at Ledges after our ceremony. Everything was outstanding, from the wine to my steak, and my wife's trout dish. And the finale was a small wedding cake they made for us. The staff handled everything wonderfully and, even though they knew what was going on, no one gave anything away. We did not try the Sunday brunch, choosing instead to leave a little early since we had a 5 hour drive home, but the food smelled delicious. I'm still questioning our choice. We are planning another stay next fall, and we'll be sure to stay for brunch!

I loved hotel. Room was clean and comfortable and had an amazing view. Food was good, whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner.

From the check-in process to the holiday meal, the experience on a very busy Thanksgiving was friendly, efficient, and delicious! Except for the long delay past our reservation time, the meal surpassed our expectations in quality and quantity. We met people from all over the world , as well as local New Englanders. Our weekend was outstanding! The hotel is beautiful! Scenic setting yet short drive to shops, with hiking trails right outside the door. Welcoming staff, stylish& fresh decor and stunning views in every direction. Food and beverage excellent! The guest pantry provides 24 hr coffee, water, tea, ice, microwave. Very much appreciated. Rooms are beautifully designed and decorated and provide all the extras, like robes, shoe cubbies, Aveda bath products, black out blinds, great lighting and charging stations. Amazing experience!
