White Lodge Hotel

Lovely hotel and lovely friendly owners who even greeted us on arrival . Lovely location however felt the place itself was a bit tired looking …. No nice toiletries and all the coffee sachets had sugar in . We couldn’t see the stunning view due to excess condensation to the inside of the window. There was no bath plug either .

The room was amazing, super comfortable and had all amenities. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating of additional requests (we wanted to keep our bags at the hotel after checkout for a few hours) and they arranged everything. The location was great, with buses running from in front of the hotel and a row of restaurants right down the road. The lake is within walking distance as well. Will definitely return :)

I stayed a couple of nights for work. A lovely welcome on arrival. The room was clean and warm. The parking was excellent. All in all a fabulous stay

Lovely little place, great service and excellent area.

One night stay, did the job, though room 6 is very small, any longer stay and you’ll struggle without a wardrobe - will keep an eye on the lodge extension next door though

Lovely stay at White Lodge. Nice comfy bed, everything you could need in the room. Owners are really friendly and always keen to offer advice of the surrounding area. Would I stay again? A hearty yes

No heating

We were late arriving but still welcomed and loved our stay

Hotel/Guest House was nice enough and bed really comfortable, but the construction site adjacent began work at 8am - banging, hammering, drilling and loud music. The hotel must’ve been aware of this as the construction workers were using their car park. I feel that we should’ve been made aware of this beforehand and given us the opportunity to choose somewhere else.

No on site parking on saturday evening. Booked room 5 which was a deluxe room but ended up in room 8 which was mich smaller.
