Gran Bolívar Hotel

Muy buen hotel, cómodo, limpio y buen ubicado. Recomendable!

Sólo estuve 15 minutos el tiempo justo para gestionar una nueva reserva por hotels.com. La impresión pésima, muy sucio. Lo seleccioné por su cercanía al centro de Trujillo, pero recomiendo alojarse por la zona que denominan "Golf". Hotels.com debería retirar este hotel de su oferta.

La habitación es amplio pero por la cercanía al centro es difícil descansar. Me comentan que hay una discoteca cerca no se como será en un fin de semana.

Main cons: Breakfast was unappetizing. Internet was slow. Small room.

Muy bueno

We had an awesome stay in the Gran Hotel Bolivar. It is a hotel with an antique charme and we loved hanging out a bit in the yard or the lobby premises. Breakfast was very rich and had many options - even Maca powder. The room and bathroom as well was spacious and the bed probably among the best we ever had in a hotel. The staff was as well very helpful and very accommodating to special requests. The passion for this business can be felt in each person and even the owner himself is still very involved and helped us even to get to our terminal in the midst of the night. Location wise the hotel is in the city center perfectly a parallel street away from the big noises, but just a minute walk to it. I dont know other hotels in Trujillo,but we would stay again only in the Gran Bolivar if we were to come back. (Collectivo stops to Huanchaco/Chan Chan are as well right around the corner)

Hotel céntrico, sin bullicio, una casona muy linda adaptada a los servicios de hospedaje. la habitación para 3 personas espaciosa, la limpieza muy bien y las personas de servicio muy cordiales. El desayuno es generoso, tienen unas humitas saladas deliciosas. En general muy buena estadía, es la segunda vez que me alojo.

Not happy since my reservation could not be paid with the credit card on file even though I call to maje sure this was the case.
