Good value, clean and easy to find. Small rooms but more than adequate for a couple of days in Newcastle on a budget.

visited Newcastle for football at sunderland. no complaints about hotel, enjoyed my stay, would stay there again.

If you want private facilities be careful which room you choose. Staff very accomodating, rooms clean and comfortable.

Convenient location for visiting family and friends.

The room we were in was at the very top - going through series of stairs. All upper floorboards were squeaky and noisy, including the floor in the double ensuite. There is a dangerous up-stand from room to bathroom which is a health hazard.The room was hot and overall the hotel was noisy. Went to bed at 10pm and by 2am we were still awake trying to catch some sleep. You could hear the guys from next rooms talking, epsecially after their night out Had a very bad experience overall - if we had sufficient spare funds during our trip we would have looked for alternative accommodation. Next time we are in Newcastle we will definitely stay clear of this hotel

Booked for a weekend away at the football. Rooms fine and clean. Didn't see advertised but a bond is payable for your stay (£25 per person) but got back when we left. Breakfast is spot on and would stay here again for weekend in Newcastle.

This hotel was comfortable and clean, but no frills. However, given the price, it is good value for money and the staff were helpful and welcoming.

Good accommodation for the price. Easy access to Newcastle centre but a bit of a trek up hill to go back to the BB.

Clean tidy room, pleasant staff. close to town centre, plenty of places to wine and dine

I went up for the great north run, and was surprised by how close the b&b was to the start line , certainly stay here again
