room up steep flight of stairs, pillows rock hard and orthopedic mattress, not too good for your back or neck. No drink facilities in room, for a slightly overweight guy the shower cubicle was too small i could not turn around. Although breakfast said a full english does 1 bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, beans and a hash brown with 2 white slices of toast count as a full english?

Much cheaper than staying in central Newcastle, and did the job fine.

This hotel was fantastic for a stopover. The room was a little small but for the price you pay its well worth it. The staff was lovely and very helpful. Bed was extremely comfortable, I didn't want to get out of it in the morning.

The room was Dean and bed comfortable. The facility in the hotel was reasonable, was able to make tea when required, an area outside the room was provided for this. However there was no lift and the room given was on the top floor which was a long way up. The area where hotel is situated and front of the hotel was not very clean but good facilities were close by such as restaurants post office and shops. Newcastle central station is close and has good facilities. Staff was helpful

Very good place for such a low price. I had a feeling of safety and friendly staff.

Nice clean room and a great place to stay hope to return

just up for the weekend so found it very good and easy to get around booked to go back next month

Rooms are dated but clean and functional, staff were great and very helpful. Car parking straight outside, nice breakfast included in the cafe on ground floor which has a fairly extensive menu .On a bus route or 10/15 minute walk into Newcastle centre. No complaints for the price. I'll definitely use Bentley's again.

The outside looked so sketchy and unsafe that I didn't feel comfortable staying there and then the inside was like somewhere you take a prostitution...it's basically just like a hostel. Ended up leaving after ten minutes and booked a premier inn!
