Apartamentos Vista Real

Apartment was really clean and super nice. Huge balconies and great sized rooms. Pool was good and a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants / Cafés. Lots to do in the area. Will definitely come back!

Everything fine except the huge infestation of ants !!! Kitchen , bedrooms and bathrooms . We stayed for two nights . Wouldn't stay again. Internet reception lousy . No soaps provided in bathrooms....which is normally included in most places. The beach is also open season for elderly nudists ....yuck ! Driving through the whole area is a nightmare , cars parked along all the roads especially during the weekend. The only reason we stayed here was for its safety and closeness to Gibraltar.

Lack of 24 security or reception cover meant disturbances until the early hours went unchecked. Loud and abusive guests - whilst not the hotel's direct responsibility - should have been controlled in some way by the establishment and this made for an overall poor experience. Such a shame as the accommodation itself was decent.

Check in was a little challenging (after hours) but ultimately went well. The place was beautiful!

Beautiful location, within a ten minute walk to the quiet beach. You can see the Rock from the apartments. You do need a car if you're staying here, it's €25 one way to La Linea/Gib boarder. Only tiny shops x 2 and 2 restaurants within a couple of miles from the apartments. Friendly staff and the rooms were so lovely and really clean :)

The staff is friendly and accommodating, greeted me and carried my cases upstairs. When I got to the room I was pleasantly surprised; a nice little kitchen area, a small sitting area and a large bedroom with large private bath The icing on the cake is a nice size private patio that overlooks the Mediterranean and the La Alcaidesa lighthouse. This hotel is in an exquisite guarded area with golf courses and a sweet center with places to eat, get your hair done etc.

Lovely quiet area but you do need a car to get around. The nearest tiny shop is 1 miles away - they sell basic food. There is virtually no public transport and a taxi to La Linea/Gib is €25 each way. You're virtually on the gold resort - it's beautiful. The beach is less than half a mile away and it's not crowded. The hotel pool looks lovely. No bar at the hotel which was a shame. The rooms can be noisy as the walls are like paper. The rooms were lovely, spacious, clean, lovely views, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, dining and living area, really perfect! If you hire a car then stay here, if you don't then don't, you'll pay a fortune in taxis.

Spacious and clean, the unit we stayed in was perfect for our needs having two bedrooms, two bathrooms and kitchen. The only downside was navigating to the property, particularly challenging after dark.
