St John Inn

Property had great views from the bar/breakfast area. Nice, simple, comfortable rooms.

Our host Jim was great and it was convenient to all Cruz Bay activities.

We always stay at the St. John Inn the 1st night we arrive, and the last night before we leave. It's the perfect buffer to extend your time on St. John a couple nights and it's close to town.

It has a great location and the personnel is really friendly, place is clean and great colors.

We had a pleasant stay with no problems

We've stayed at this property before, and were happy to return. There was some trepidation traveling during Covid, and with the ongoing rebuilding efforts after Maria, but as soon as we landing in Cruz Bay and walked up the hill to the Inn, we knew we were in for a great trip. Jim as very kind, welcoming and available to assist during our stay. The Inn itself is clean and amenable for what it is, it's no palace but it works very well for a beach vacation launching and retiring spot. The location right near the Dolphin market and all the restaurants makes it ideal for those looking to explore the island on foot. You don't need a jeep to get to Solomon or Honeymoon beach, and the taxis will take you further for just a few dollars. We will return as soon as we possibly can.

We loved staying here. It is in a beautiful location. The owner and property manager are there to answer questions or just chat with the guests during the free breakfast and rum punch happy hour. We will definitely be back.

Great stay at a local neighborhood hotel in St. John. If you’re looking for a big resort experience then this hotel is probably not for you, but if you’re looking for great value and a great experience this is for you. Clean rooms, continental breakfast and rum punch happy hour in the evening included. Beach/snorkeling equipment available on site to borrow, friendly helpful staff. Who could ask for more?

The owner lives on the property and was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the location was good. It was only a short walk into downtown to the the shops and restaurants. The unit we stayed in could use some updating and the a/c didn’t work that great. Overall good value.

Many pleasant surprises, such as the layout, design, happy hour, free beach chairs. Room was very nice, but we were on the ground floor and wifi was poor quality. Also, bug spray came handy as there were mosquitoes around.
