Best Budget Inn - Abilene

It was good. They have very good wifi. Get the king size. It's a better room.

Hotel situated on old business highway across the road from the railroad tracks. Trains run frequently. Building is old and out of date, yet is clean and adequate. Nice WiFi, flat screen TV, cable and remote, microwave and refrigerator. Comfortable non-smoking room with good king bed. Parking convenient immediately in front of room. Reasonable price.

The hotel clark was very helpful and polite ... He upgraded my queen to a king at no extra cost.

clean room, staff upgraded me to king although I booked a queen. The motel is across from a train track which was a little loud, but the room was not bad at all.

Was pleased with the hotel especially for the price. Night attendant was very pleasant and friendly too.

The trains were close across the way from the motel/hotel. The mattress was not comfortable and the pillows were not comfortable. The chairs were dirty with stains. The window latch did not lock. The carpet needs to be shampooed. The paint looked new and the granite at the sink and tub area were nice. However the other adjustments need to be made to make the motel/hotel more inviting along with a dining area for a complementary breakfast.

Generally ok and clean except corners and behind furniture were obviously dirty. Probably wouldn't have stayed here if other places had been available. It was a very busy time in Abilene, TX, with three colleges having their graduation ceremonies all at the same time. The motel charged $75 per night and Expedia charged another $25 per night. We thought this was way overpriced since there was no breakfast included. We also thought $25 per night Expedia charge was outrageous. Our total was $300 for three nights, which seemed overpriced for what we got.

The hotel seemed to be a drug den. It was frightening! If I had the resources, I would have found another hotel.

Room was generally clean although dated. Service was almost non existant and if you made special requests for additional towels, pillows etc. it was met with resistance. I tried to call the room for my wife during the day and noone answered the phone. I would not reccommend this hotel for other than a place to lay your head.

Trains very close. Right across the street. Atleast there were only a couple through the night. The room was fairly nice though. Possibly remodeled recently.
