Best Budget Inn - Abilene

Staff seemed nice enough, I guess, but WAY over priced for what you get. It's in a bad area, the whole place is dingy, HORRIBLE mattresses, not very clean ( some rooms just plain nasty). I couldn't get out of there fast enough. BEWARE!

It would have ok if the location was better and the front desk clerk was so rude. My pillow case had what looked like coffee or coke stains on it. And the water in the shower came out brown at first.

The room was clean and cold a.c.. Very comfortable. Also led us to Little Italy to eat great food.

The room was dirty. There were stains on the sheets . the floor hadn't been cleaned and the paint was scraped off several parts of the walls

Had no housekeeping till 4pm, the room needs painting, need new pillows, overall it was ok

The area the motel was in was a rough part of town

An adequate property, marginal location, but clean and budget priced. I needed a room for the night in the middle of a long drive, and this was OK for that. Would not want to be here for several days.

Hotel was a decent price, pictures featured however look nothing like what it really does in person. Thankfully we were only passing through for the night because I was terrified we were going to be attacked by bedbugs. Half the lights didn't work, there wasn't any maid service, Fridge was rotted out and didn't even work. Wall was full of holes and the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned. Overall even 1 star is too many for this "hotel".

It was over all an okay place to stay.. the cleanest rooms for the price you pay around abilene.

Beds was fine, but a warmer blanket would have been nice. TV cut in and mostly out. Train runs right behind the rooms, and the whistle is very loud, but it did not wake me. You get what you pay for, and in this case the low price reflects the overall quality of this older hotel.
