Best Budget Inn - Abilene

Good central location, maintenance was lack luster, no fire alarm (wires hanging from ceiling), no exhaust fan in bathroom. Good beds friendly staff.

This motel is directly across the street from train tracks, so VERY noisy The sink had toothpaste splatter from a previous guest, and when I pulled the shower curtain closed a used washcloth fell out! Altho the sheets looked clean, I was bitten on my arms 4 times by something diring the night. When I approached the manager he gave me some spiel about how a storm damaged his roof the week before!? Not sure how that equates to bad housekeeping...maybe his housekeeper also does roofs? Overall, if you can find somewhere else to stay, I would.

Overpriced and dirty No pool as advertised. Electrical outlet by the bathroom sink not working. I have stayed at this motel before and was placed in a better room in the front and was charged the same amount of money as I paid thru Expedia. My grandson and I were placed on the backside close to the street. Extremely noisy area. They advertised they had 1 room left. Not true. The majority of the rooms were empty. Good for a work crew but not good for a woman and a child.

The pool, its filled in, its a grass area now. Also the place is near railroad tracks, bring ear plugs. But beyond that its a nice/clean place to stay for cheap, the staff really works hard to keep everything tidy.

Had to switch rooms many many times due to no heat. I would definitely not recommend this hotel. I did not even get my money back and the manager was very unhelpful.

Room wasnt clean and they had not complimentary breakfast. Over priced

We we're arriving verrry late, and they didn't mind. The location was easy to find. Good price, new furniture, vrry nice decorating and friendly, helpful staff. There is a train track across the street which was active, but we were very tired and do not remember it waking us.Just be aware there is no swimming pool any longer, nor a breakfast

Sink was stopped up Bath tub need replaced or glazed

Hotel manager was very judgemental and rude. We were only allowed 2 towels. When we asked for more we were told no. Will not be going back and would not recommend to anyone. We were charged more because of my 3 yr old.

The room was not clean, insects all over the place, ants running up and down the sink, at the time of check in the lady at the desk was very rude, parking lot is not enough for the travelers, the pool was filled up with dirt completely
