Azoris Angra Garden

Great place to stay as long as you don't have a car to use/park. No parking available. In Terceira a car is usually needed unless you stick to the city and organized tours via bus. I had to pay for 5 nights but only stayed 4. My flight diverted and we arrived the next day. They said shouldn't be a problem to change but in the end they declined to adjust. The hotel was never full so it's not like they would have lost money to refund the first night. Considering we are repeat customers I thought that wasn't cool. I'm not declaring I wouldn't stay again but I'll try to avoid and consider a hotel with more accomodating management.

Quarto amplo e confortável. Casa de banho merecia uma renovação. Piscina pequena,mas ginásio completo. Pessoal muito simpático e atencioso. Óptimo buffet de pequeno almoço. Localizado mesmo no centro, para estacionar terá de usar parquímetros.

Beautiful property right into the heart of the city and garden! The staff were so helpful and friendly every time. The restaurant at the hotel itself had delicious food! But the hotel is located in close proximity to multiple dining locations and cafés. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

A lovely resort hotel. But they should have taken more time to explain how the place works. We didn't know until day 2 that there was an indoor pool, for example. And they should have explained that we were to use the grey towels and bathrobes for the thermal pool. And we didn't know they supplied flip flops. Better communication would have made a better experience.

The place is beautiful. Staff were wonderful and so helpful with recommendations. Room was large and very clean. My only dislike was there is no parking close by so we had to walk a bit to the free parking lot every time we needed the car. On street parking was hard to find - even off season!

The only complaint was no parking available @ properly… but was advertised on description.

It is so quiet even if it's located in the city centre. The garden (Jardim Duque da Terceira) is just behind my room, which added to the serene ambiance. Shopping and dining are just within walking distance. Praça Velha, the town square, is in front of the hotel. There is also an abundance of taxis just around the corner and buses from across the town square. They have a fitness centre that includes a pool, sauna, and gym. Breakfast is excellent with many choices. Overall cleanliness is of excellent quality. Most importantly, the staff is so helpful and friendly. Shoutout to Igor for letting me check in at an earlier time. He truly understood that I am so exhausted from a very long flight.

Staff at the front desk were super helpful. Location is perfect: central, adjacent to the gardens, across from lovely square where you can sit and have a drink.
