The surrounding area was nice

I stayed expecting five-star quality, but this hotel fell well short of that standard. The carpets were old and stained, the bedding uncomfortable, and the pillows so worn out they smelled and offered no support. The pool was far too small and constantly overcrowded. The gym situation was especially disappointing — I was shown only a tiny, inadequate room with basic equipment. When I complained, the front desk manager curtly told me ‘that’s all we have’ and failed to mention a second, larger gym that I later discovered on my own. The same manager was consistently dismissive and impatient with guests, giving short answers and appearing bothered by simple questions. For the price and the rating, this level of maintenance and service simply doesn’t measure up

Have stayed in this hotel 5 times and last visit in April very disappointing, the hotel just getting very tired and broken looking, the suites are great but need refurbishing as does the hotel in general, great staff though but pool area awful no mattres on loungers and broken decking and tiles please resolve I will be back as I love olhao
