Excellent breakfast.

Hotel brilliant just found the bedrooms a little small and the shower was far too small

Breakfast was excellent, restaurant and bar staff very friendly and helpful.

Lack of adequate car parking and the hotel building could do with a coat of paint.

Bedroom a little small

As a local I was totally disappointed with our meal there today - we went in for Sunday roast…. Will never eat there again. Portion size of meat - miniscule, to the point we could hear other tables complaining about it as well Vegetables were cold. Cauliflower cheese was watery and had no taste My braised beef was allegedly slow cooked but was dry and tough. The pork might have been nice but my partners portion was so small we couldn’t tell. I don’t mind paying slightly more than other places if the food is good but this food was anything but good and completely over priced.

Very shabby hotel, no fridge in the room. The window frames were filthy. The bed was so soft and lumpy. The room as a whole needs an upgrade, it was very shabby and not particularly clean. The breakfast was ok, but there was no cereal/croissants etc for my husband who is gluten intollerant. We had the Sunday roast and had to ask for more meat as there was just 1 small thin slice of pork. Parking is also an issue which I know cannot he helped. The staff are lovely, friendly and professional, but would we stay here again? not unless it has an upgrade, which is a shame because the location to Totnes is great

The front door is locked after 11 and the DM took his time opening up when we returned from attending a wedding, but otherwise a great stay.

Noisy thumping music through could hear the wall for a Monday night till 11pm .poached eggs were hard.room dated we've stayed here many times but needs updating ..
