Amber Court Motel

Location is perfect. room amenities were present. staff are very welcoming. value for money is great. room is clean and tidy.

We stayed at Amber Court Motel over New Year’s Eve to attend the Festival of Lights, and it was a great choice. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the location was very convenient for getting to the festival and around New Plymouth. The kids also really enjoyed the pool, which was a great bonus during our stay. Everything was easy and stress-free, especially during a busy time of year. We’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to others.

It was a bit hot in the room. There were plenty of windows to open and a fan provided but it was still hotter inside the room than outside. Airconditioning would be a welcome addition.

The 2 bedroom unit we had was roomy and had everything we needed. Was great having the pool and just loved the booking system. Good also having supermarkets and cafes close by

The garden outside the unit was full of weeds and clearly not maintained. We were at the back of the motel and it looked as tho it was uncared for The heating unit had a huge crack down its middle and needs to be looked at - fortunately we were there in summer and did not need it. Housekeeping arriving at 9am every morning was not appreciated

The locality.

Noisy. No air conditioning. Very very dated everywhere.

The location was great, staff was friendly and helpful.Room was a good size.

The room was outdated and smelled like cigarettes. The pool was freezing cold and the spa was lukewarm.

We enjoyed the room, facilities and services provided by the informed staff.
