Casa De Mama Cusco - The Treehouse

Die Lage ist wirklich super. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön und gut eingerichtet. Ein Highlight war die Aussicht beim Frühstück auf dem Balkon! Die Hosts sind super nett und es gab die Möglichkeit, unser Gepäck unterzustellen während wir einen mehrtägigen Trek gemacht haben.

Die Zimmer sind leider nicht geheizt, was insbesondere im Winter (wir waren im Juni da) dazu führt, dass es sehr kalt wird - wir haben zwar eine kleine portable Heizung bekommen von Carmen, welche aber leider den Raum nicht aufgeheizt hat. Auch die Dusche wird nicht wirklich warm sondern bleibt eher lauwarm.

Amazing, convenient location surrounded by great boutique stores and excellent dining options (Italian, sushi, and Thai). It's incredibly budget-friendly, the owners are highly responsive, and Carmen was wonderful and helpful. Having a laundry service just a flight of stairs away was super convenient, and the place was always beautifully tidied up when we returned.

Case de Mama’s Treehouse was quaint, although a little outdated and in need of some TLC. The twin room we had was spacious with comfortable beds, clean linen and had a small kitchen area that we did not use. The bathroom was clean, but the shower did not seem to have much hot water if any at all. While we were there the toilet broke but this was fixed the following day after messaging, so that was really good. Carmen obviously puts her heart and soul into her accommodation and this is commendable. The location was ideal. Not far from Plaza de Armas in the centre of Cusco, and Saksaywaman. Be prepared for lots of steps in Cusco generally

For the price this is a good economy option. Carmen is very sweet and helpful, and the breakfast room has incredible 360-degree views. The bed was comfortable. Excellent location with easy walk to the centro, exploring San Blas, or a hike up to Saqsaywaman.

It gets very cold at night and there’s no heat. The shower was very difficult to work with and usually got too hot and then quickly cold again. Only one time could I get it warm and to stay that way. Also the glass above the shower is cracked and I found some on the floor when I got there.
