Casa De Mama Cusco - The Treehouse

Location was very good and close to restaurants and site seeing. I could easily walk from the hotel.

It would be nice if they had a sign for the hotel. There was just a non-descript door. We walked past that a few times trying to find the hotel.

The view over the city, the wifi, the staff were amazing - confirmed our arrival time, made us coca leaf tea when she could see we were clearly exhausted from travelling. The room was pleasant and the bed was comfy.

There was mold in the bathroom, the hot water didn't work, it was really cold in the morning and at night (particularly if you took breakfast on the open top roof terrace). It is not easy to get to (particularly if you are suffering from altitude sickness) - it is up a flight of stairs and then when you get into the property there are more winding stairs to go up. It's just something to be aware of.

Breakfast was very small. I had to get 2nd breakfast outside the hotel.

We loved the location, the breakfast in the morning, the panoramic views from our room, hummingbirds outside our window. Also the host was very helpful and responsive.

Bathroom door didn’t close. When we arrived the dishes were dirty and the whole room needed a deep clean. Also, our bathroom smelt really strongly of sewage (although we’ve heard this is a larger Cusco issue).

The room is comfortable with everything needed. Good location. Hostess Carmen made us feel like home.

So welcoming, comfortable and quiet. Carmen was an incredible host and Mercedes was so helpful with all of my questions. Felt so warm and loved having the kitchen in the room. Warm shower was lovely as well.

The owner Carmen is lovely, so welcoming and helpful. We left for a night to go to Aguas Calientes and we were able to leave all our belongings in the same room for no extra charge as the night had not been booked by another person. Carmen just really went out of her way to help you. The free breakfast is really nice, fruit, coffee, eggs, bread and juice. We ate it every morning! We also took their 10 dollar taxi service from the airport which was convenient. Our room was really nice and cosy. It had everything we needed for our stay.
