Disappointing. Run down. Looks like it was once a nice motel but has not been up kept. Beds are hard and sag in the middle, old pillows, the lights in our room kept tripping a switch. We are staying in a wine region and the staff knew nothing about wines at the bar. There is no snacks or food offerings in the rooms even thought the accommodation is located over 1.5kms from town. Would not recommend, there are better places in Mudgee to stay.

We stayed at Parklands Resort for three nights and found it to be a comfortable enough base for exploring Mudgee. The location is convenient, being only a short drive from the town centre, and the rooms were clean and suitable for a short stay. The service model took some getting used to. There is no direct phone connection to reception. Instead, guests are asked to communicate via WhatsApp, where responses appear to be automated. If you need additional towels, coat hangers, shower caps, or other basic items, you'll need to make the trip to reception yourself, which can feel a little impersonal and inconvenient. There was also no housekeeping service during our stay, and the breakfast offering was fairly limited. Overall, the resort was comfortable and met our basic needs, but the guest experience felt quite hands-off. It may suit travellers who are happy with a more self-service style of accommodation.
AULocation was great, and the staff were lovely. The glamping tents were a great idea and had a nice view. The bed was very comfortable.
The glamping tents were very cold during our trip in June. The bathrooms were also very hard to keep dry with the condensation. The breakfast was probably a bit overpriced for what it was.
