Food extremely average, could do a lot better

Great time!!

I liked that the bes was comfy, large and a range of pillows to suit. The shower was excellent with good pressure. Loved the air con and then heat pump when needed. I didnt like that it was cashless as we brought quite a bit of cash but not a big deal. Some rubbish was accidenly left in our room on check in ~ also not big deal. The biggest let down was the wifi. We needed this to find things to do on the island and for map location. It would constantly drop off. This really does need to be sorted. We would come back as staff were awesome but wifi seriously needs looking at.

The resorts postion to the beach is great

Sanctuary adults only is peaceful. Staff lack a bit of enthusiasm. Beach and water facilities great.

Not much, to be honest.

The resort is dated & the dinner we had in the beach restaurant was really disappointing. It was raining heavily & very windy on the day we were there & the tiled area near the reception was very slippery. The staff laid 2 beach towels on the ground that were absolutely soaked & when we left at 6am the next morning, the rain had stopped, but the soaking wet towels were still there. No effort had been made to clean up or make the area safe. Even if you are only staying 1 night like us, there are plenty of other better options in Rarotonga.

The property is right on the beach with stunning views — perfect for swimming and snorkelling.

Some areas of the property felt a little tired and could use updating.

The room was spacious and beautiful leading out to a semi private courtyard and out onto a gorgeous lagoon. The snorkelling was amazing - like bring in an aquarium! Super friendly staff too.
