Northern Lights Inn Rugby

Had issue with hot water but they said plumbers was working on it. Air conditioner flashed lights all night, was a little annoying. But service was good.

Good for one night

All in all not bad stay. Room was clean and fresh. The fixtures and belongings are dated and older. A updated modern look would do wonders

There was a big hole in the wall and a very distinct smell coming from the room in general. Luckily we were only staying for one night. The bathroom looked like it may have the start of mold growing in it. The worst part is the bedding covers were both dirty. Not sure the last time they were washed. I would think these should be being washed on a regular basis. This place used to be nice to stay at, but not sure I could even say that anymore.

No hot water. Barely lukewarm.

Location was perfect. Property could use updating.

It had excellent customer service, all the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Easy to find, close to everywhere you need to go.

Cigarette butts around main entrance. No phone in room. Very reasonable rates. Very helpful front desk.

The staff were very nice, professional. The restaurant attached to the inn was handy and the food and prices were excellent. The bed was very comfy, water was hot and pressure good. Our room had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker, with pods. The heat/cool unit functioned as it should. All that said, the whole building is dated and desperately in need of a renovation. I don’t think the pool has functioned in quite some time. All in all, a good place to stay for an overniter.
