Kings Arms Inn

Room rates are a bit pricey for Oct maybe should think of doing variable rates for out of season business maybe? staff very good & helpful food for hotel supplied from local producers which is always a bonus in my book. A great change from staying in one of the "Chains" e.g Travel Lodge/Premier Inns etc

The bathroom door handle was not screwed on so kept coming off in your hand but apart from that pleasant stay. Did not eat in restaurant so cannot comment on food. Very clean and warm.

The address was deceiving, it seemed like it was in Oakham, even after google

This is my second visit to the Kings Arms Inn, and I can't wait to go back!

Well where to begin. On arrival I went to the bar and was welcomed straight away. Check in was very easy and quick. Went to my room it just needed a quick hover and some coffee. The evening meal and breakfast was 100% well done to all. I picked this hotel on the spur of the moment for a weekend get away. I couldn't have chosen better. Well done to all. This is a must go to hotel

The Best Kept seceret The Kings Arms Inn The location is set in a charming english village and the Kings Arms is the heart of the village, The rooms are all individual and great time and effort has been taken to make them individual, I stayed in the Bakery Suite which had the worlds most comfy Bed and a seperate area with a sofa to watch tv and unwind. You must eat in the Kings Arms Inn, Please make sure you book !! And treat yourself to local and home grown meats fish and veggies, sourced all locally and as fresh as you can get. The food at the Hotel is fantastic and choice of wines and beers again is to be commended. I stayed via a business trip just passing through, but i would go back just to enjoy the local countryside relax and unwind eating the fresh food prepared at the Kings Arms Inn and sipping the chilled wine.

We were looking for a couple of nights stay in the area as we wanted to visit a well known garden & a few pretty towns & villages. It was good for that. The place was old & quirky which suited us & the food was very good. If you needed to stay in this area it was a great choice.

Our hosts were charming, the fare outstanding and the area beautiful and quiet.
