The Wilton Guest House

Booked on a last minute impulse at 7.30 pm arrived at 8.30 pm to a friendly welcome.. Central Weymouth location with convenient (paid) parking. Its neither glamorous b or quaint but the room was clean and comfortable and perfect for one or two nights just as a base for exploring the wonderful Dorset coast.

Loved it here very warm welcome lovely rooms brilliant location too highly recommended!

Sarah was friendly and very helpful. The guesthouse is very close to the sea front and the room was great value. Didn't spend a lot of time there but made a great base

A basic guest house with tea and coffee making facilities no breakfast but there are lots cheap eating places nearby. Sarah was very nice and helpful, gave us lots of information for a nice holiday, that was really nice of her. But don't expect her will be there all the time. When we got to the place there was a notice with her telephone number for contact, mind you, she showed up in no time and very friendly. Car parking is on the street with a parking permit is £5 per day, which you can purchase from Sarah. A nearby council car park with free parking from 6pm to 8am, would have been better for us as we only want a place for resting at night. Our bathroom was not attached to the room although it was only for us, but we have to go up a stairs. But the price was reasonable

Great little hotel, just the job for an overnight stay following a business trip. Room comfortable, bed very comfy and Sarah was very welcoming and helpful. Location was excellent - will use again for sure.

Not enough space to write. Shame because like a lot of people on here say,great spot and could be a gold mine.First of all.you cannot expect to be a guest house with drainage like that noise.Should not be aloud to be run.

Small room with extremely small ensuite shower. Every time you flushed the toilet or used the water in the sink or shower there was a terrible noise. Every time someone else in the building did the same you could hear the same noise, although not so loud. All the doors are heavy fire doors and slam when being closed. This could be heard throughout the building.The first night was bearable, the second night was unbearable and we left before our final night. This hotel would be good for very sound sleepers who don't mind the constant noise. Beware the cost of parking permits at £5 a day.

Lovely place with lovely staff, would highly recommend to all.
