Great place to stay. Excellent staff very friendly, will definitely stay there again when I'm next in Dorset.

Warm, spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Inexpensive.

I stayed in a double bedroom and it was small and crammed with furniture. For a drop in night it was okay however the bed was not clean, there were no matteress protector on the bed nor were the sheets clean. The duvet had stains all over it and the showers base was filthy. The toilet makes a loud noise upon flushing and the shower sounds like the boiler is about to burst because of the constant rumbling banging sound every few seconds. The valence surrounding the base was stained and muddy. If it wasn't for the lack of finding another hotel nearby I would have left like a flash. However upon complaint of the bed sheets they were changed however I will not be returning here despite this. I understand that due to the nature of it being a guest house it's not like hotel service however one thing I would say is the standard of cleanliness should be the same wherever you stay and that was the issue with my stay.

Not told about the bathroom being upstairs separate to room therefore being a single parent with a child this wAs totally inappropriate and this should of being discussed with me at time of booking. This made the stay uncomfortable.

Great time had by all. Plenty to see & do. Convenient for shops, restaurants,buses & 5 minutes from the railway station.

Had a great spacious area for the whole family much more than we expected.

Where to start. I dont usually write reviews like this but here we go. I have never stayed at a place like that. We booked for 2 nights, on the evening of arrival noone was there to meet us, numbers we got to call were going unanswered for about an hour then someone picked up and let us in. We walked in, the room wasnt ready for us, not cleaned at all, bathroom dirty. We managed to get "upgraded" to room upstairs which was good (private room by the sound of it). As we were checking out, we were asked to pay the rest of the money, to our surprise it was 6 pounds more than we booked for? (not about the money, dont take me wrong but its the princial that you get an email for 150 for 2 days but they are trying to charge you more?). Parking is a nightmare, but the area is nice. Not staying there ever again.
