Rookwood Farmhouse

Comfortable stay, pleasing hosts, rooms are specious and the lounge is in a separate spacious building with swimming pool. Huge garden to walk within.

This was a very nice bed and breakfast. Service was friendly and prompt. Area is quiet. Room was a good size, not cramped, and in good condition.

Wunderschöne Umgebung, das Farmhaus ist entzückend Englisch! Man sitzt praktisch der Familie auf dem Schoß! Freundliche Hunde und mit den anderen Gästen an einem großen Tisch nette Unterhaltung! Einiges ist kaputt, Eingangstür geht nur mit Gewalt auf! Fenster gehen nicht alle auf! Wir waren 2 Tage da, am ersten wurde unser Zimmer gemacht und Toilettenpapier aufgefüllt. Am zweiten leider nicht! Fazit wer es nicht so perfekt braucht der ist dort gut aufgehoben !

Lovely stay in this fab b and b. The rooms were nice and location and grounds stunning. Owners went above and beyond and breakfast was great. Would recommend.

Stayed here for work as I find the bigger hotel chains too impersonal. The room was gorgeous with a massive bed and both a tub and a shower in the bathroom. The garden was lovely, the pool as well, and the couple who runs the place are both very friendly. It's the kind of place where you end up having breakfast across the table from the owners whilst the milkman is rummaging around the kitchen for a cuppa. Added bonus was the 11 Dalmatian puppies that were currently in the house as well!

We stayed at Rookwood whilst attending a wedding reception in Stockcross village. We were greeted as soon as we'd parked and welcomed in by the owner. We stayed in the four-poster room with en-suite bathroom which was nicely appointed and very comfortable. All the usual facilities you would expect from a conventional 3* hotel were included: team & coffee, bottled water, toiletries, heated towel rails etc. Breakfast was served at 10am as agreed the night before, a delicious full English with all the trimmings. We didn't use the garden/pool but they looked very well kept from inside. Dog lovers will appreciate the attentive, friendly canine hosts (1 labrador, 1 dalmatian). We would be happy to stay here again.

Hotelli oli viihtyisä ja suloinen. Valitettavasti osa henkilökunnasta ei ollut järin ystävällistä. Lähtöni oli aamulla aikaisin ja tiedustelin edellisenä päivänä voisinko saada jotain aamiaista mukaani. Sain tylyn vastauksen jonka seurauksena lähdin aamulla matkaan tyhjin käsin...

Was difficult to find without a GPS. Not as impressive as I thought it would be but clean and comfortable. The pictures were misleading.
