Las Palmas Hotel by the Sea

The hotel is lovely, the staff and owners are very welcoming and very helpful. They went above and beyond to help us. We would definately go back again.

Nice little stay with a decent size room and not too far away from everything. Only negative would be having too leave such a large deposit while staying

Great stay - staff were fantastic, room clean and fresh, fabulous value - cash deposit required which was returned. I’ll be back! I stayed with a dog and used the parking for which there are extra charges - both pet friendliness and parking were fabulous. Many thanks!

Hotel staff were nice and friendly and the beds were warm and comfortable but thats about the only things good. Arrived and first impression was the smell, very strong musky and quite unpleasant. That was also when we found out there was no breakfast available as they didnt have a chef currently. Someone kept wedging a firedoor open. The window didn't shut properly so there was a bad draft. The walls are a strange gunmetal grey coupled with low lighting made the room feel dark and dingy. The bathroom whilst obviously it had been cleaned needed a dose of help. There were bits between the flooring, the flooring wasnt designed for a bathroom, 2 used soaps on the shower surround, one of the doors was no longer attached properly and the overall finish felt a bit cheap and tacky. Oh dont expect a shower, for love nor money could we get the temperature right and there was no plug in the sink for a wash. And lastly even though we were on the top floor it was noisy, partly from the poorly fitted window but also we could hear next doors snoring and everyone on our floor clearly coming and going.
