We stayed here for 4 weeks, we stayed in a studio apartment. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The towels and sheets were changed regularly. The kitchen was very well equipped, it had plenary of sockets for the microwave, kettle and toaster. There are plenty of supermarkets nearby including an Aldi. All the staff were very friendly and approachable. Nothing was ever to munch trouble. The environment was well lite. The location of the appointments were fantastic. We went out running in the mornings and walked to Praiade Santa Eulalia, Parque do Ribeiro, where we watched terripins in the river, Olhas de Agua, the Marina, Praia dos Arrifes, the old Town and the New Town. If you don’t like walking there is a land train or a Tuktuk that you can take. We also walked to many other places. The pool side and loungers were clean. The public toilets were clean. There was a great book exchange for people to change their books. A lovely on-site cafe/bar. My only negative comment is the pool is sectioned off with depth dividers which prevents you being able to swim lengths in the pool without having to go under water. However we would definitely stay again, it’s great value for money.

I loved the pool area and how friendly the staff were. The rooms were basic but that is what I expected for what I paid and they were extremely clean. It was a little distance from the old town but it was less than £4 in an uber so not really an issue.

There was nothing I didn't like. Regretted not booking longer.

Stedet trænger til en kærlig hånd. Vi oplevede en aircondition som larmede så meget at vi ikke kunne sove. Personalet var dog hurtige til at sende reparatør og da han ikke kunne lave den fik vi anvist et andet værelse.

The apartment was a long walk from the pool and bar

It was very bad, because I had to wait an hour with my family because they wanted to charge a deposit of €200 to collect the key. This wasn't specified at the time of booking, but anyway. I said I would pay by Visa card, but they said they only accept cash. That was the last straw for me. I had to walk a few kilometres to find an ATM, and when I got there, it wasn't working, so I had to go to a supermarket to ask for help at Intermarche.

I was upset because the manager said there was nothing she could do, and my 5- and 7-year-old daughters, who were sleepy, and my wife, who was in pain, had to wait an hour to get in.

Very relaxing atmosphere with attractive pool and well stocked apartment. Good size car park. Very good location.

TV stations were basic.

Buena ubicación, supermercados y bares muy cercanos

- Piden fianza de 100 euros en efectivo por persona. En nuestro caso 200 euros. Como no se avisa en ningún lado de ello, tuve que ir a buscar un cajero, cobrándome 15 euros de comisión por ser mi banco español. - La alarma de incendios estuvo bastante tiempo a las 7 de la mañana sonando, sin que nadie hiciera nada. Llamamos a recepción y nadie contestaba. - Fuimos en febrero, hacía frío y el aire acondicionado no funcionaba. Con la humedad, te quedabas tieso. - Otro de los días recepción nos llamó a las 9 de la mañana al teléfono para ver si necesitábamos algo. ¿A las 9 de la mañana? No he llamado y lo que quiero es descansar, estoy de vacaciones! - Sin hablar de las paredes, se escuchaba todo, no me quiero imaginar en verano.
