Lekker bed en heerlijke douche. Personeel is vriendelijk. Mooi groot park. Restaurant is cute. Voor €124 per nacht een redelijke deal.

De huisjes zijn niet goed geventileerd, waardoor alles vochtig aanvoelt. 48 uur regen helpt ook niet mee, maar dat is in Arco Sao Jorge geen uitzondering. Wij zaten in huisje 504, achterin het park met uitzicht op het hek. De rozentuin was niet echt in bloei en om er te komen moet je echt kriskras door het park letterlijk langs andere huisjes. Locatie is echt middle of nowhere. Houd daar rekenening mee. Ontbijt is aan de overkant van de straat. Op zich prima, maar de twee koffieautomaten zijn extreem traag en er moest constant water bij of uit. Werd vriendelijk opgelost, maar bij een hotel zou koffie geen project moeten zijn.

It was situated in a beautiful place.

It was cold, and it smelled of mould. The power went out; there was only a wood stove, but the wood was wet. There is only one restaurant to eat at and it wasn't good. I was very disappointed.

Heel aangenaam verblijf met een prachtige rozentuin. Het gehele domein is ongelofelijk mooi en goed onderhouden. Het restaurant vlak bij waar het ontbijt ook doorgaat serveert heerlijke maaltijden. Er is ook een klein eigen keukentje om zelf iets klaar te maken.

Voor ons geen probleem, maar goed om te weten: beide zwembaden zijn niet verwarmd. Dit maakte dat we er geen gebruik konden van maken tijdens ons verblijf.

Locatie met uitzicht op zee, bergen en natuur

De bad/douche faciliteiten waren ondermaats. Douchen was alleen mogelijk als je op je knieën gaat zitten. In en uitstappen uit bad was lastig. Voor minder mobiele personen zeker geen aanrader.
