Be Live Adults Only Tenerife

We stayed for 11 nights in this hotel as a backup since our original plan was canceled due to the Middle East conflicts and this is how it went: Reception: When we arrived, reception staff welcomed us and told us everything we needed to know. We added 3€ per day for the safe which is totally fine. We had some issues with the room cards since they kind of deactivated themselves after some time but that is obviously not staff's fault. We probably kept it to close to our phones which causes deactivation or something to the cards but nevertheless, the receptionists were always nice and helped us out with everything anytime! Room: We got a room with sea view on the 9th floor. The view was great, the room was spacious enough for me and my mom and was equipped with a big closet. The bathroom is clean & was equipped with a bathtub with shower function. The beds were fine but there was only one pillow which was a bit too low to sleep on. We did ask for a second one per person which was no problem and was brought to us with the next housekeeping staff entering the room. The blankets are a bit thin but there were additional blankets in the closet which we used in case we got cold. Breakfast: They offer a wide selection of everything you can think of for breakfast. The buffet offers egg dishes (boiled, fried and scrambled), bacon and sausages, pancakes and churros, a bunch of cereals, fruits, jogurts and so on. You can get water, juices, tea and coffee with some machines and the food was solid. Staff: Receptionists, service staff and housekeeping were all great! We appreciated our housekeeping lady a lot who always did a great job and even folded and put our clothes in the drawers to make it look more tidied. We also rented a car for 126€ for 3 days which was easy to do. They have somebody come to the hotel who offers said car rentals and tours.

Dinner: Again, there's a lot to choose from and everyday there's different food, which is nice! Unfortunately warm food is still a bit cold. Some stuff tastes bland and needs either sauce or seasoning. The staff was always nice though and always seemed joyful. Wellness & Gym: We both did a full body massage (i think). The lady was nice but there was no music so i just laid there in complete silence 😅 The massage over all wasn't bad but a bit light.

Definately avoid. All inc/half board is def not as everything is limited and popular things on the menu run out quickly. Drinks are restricted even soft drinks on AI. The only lunch time 'snack' for the non meat eater is plain salad or salad sandwich ! Staff are bullied & over worked by management & customers are not made to feel welcome. Had to change rooms after one night as lots of 'noisy comings and goings' from non customers to a couple of rooms in the night !!! The only recommendation is that the rooms are a nice size although not regularly cleaned. We left early to go down south at our own expense.

Well I didn't read any of the reviews on Trustpilot or Trip Advisor before booking, and I'm glad I didn't as it would of probably changed my choice. I originally booked a standard single room which was far too small and it was right behind the elevators with only a small window, so it was a bit noisy. However it was my plan to upgrade to a room with a sea view and balcony. I did this for only £50 for a week and got in my opinion the best room in the hotel. It was on the 12th floor (Top) and had the best view of everything, town and sea. (Room 1208). Staff Extremely nice and polite staff, Very helpful Food I was only half board which gives you a breakfast and a buffet dinner. I can't comment on lunch because it wasn't an option for me. You can change your daily entitlement for dinner to lunch for you stay if you talk to reception. There may be an additional cost. Meal times are 3 hours and breakfast ends at 10am if you have a lie in. I will say if you want hot food then turn up early as stuff gets cold. Food was good enough and plenty of choices. Entertainment I didn't go to many of them and attendance was sparse. The Karaoke was not a karaoke at all which was a shame, but most people are out in town anyway so it's not a deal breaker. Locality 15mins walk from the town centre 10mins walk from Lora Parque Zoo (The zoo is expensive to get in 45 euro, but worth a look if only for the Orcas and dolphins) 5min downhill stroll to a black lava beach Quiet and great area Directly over the small bridge outside the hotel is a good motorcycle hire place Cleanliness Spotless, No complaints at all Amenities 2 vending machines for emergency snacks Bar outside by the pool, loads of sun loungers and pool is clean Bar inside Pool table room Gym Massage (by appointment) LIfts In several reviews people are complaining about the lifts. In the week I was there two of the three main lifts were out of order for days, however there are three other service elevators too, so there is never any shortage. Overall. I don't understand the people who leave these bad reviews saying that it doesn't deserve its 4 stars. It is unbeatable for the price and if your are expecting to be waited on hand and foot with breakfast trays and gold bath fittings, then you should be paying 4 times more. I rarely holiday in the same place twice, but if I return to Tenerife, I will stay here again, no problem.
