A clean and welcoming stay close to the airport, with well trained staff and excellent restaurant. A good soft landing spot after an international flight and a welcome retreat away from the heat of the city. Directly adjacent to a modern mall providing a range of shopping and dining..

The location is great, being ten minutes away from the airport and next to a shopping mall. The staff was extremely polite, welcoming and warm. Wonderful amenities and the Shower was great with good water pressure. The air conditioning was slightly noisy, and the mattress sagged a little in certain places. Great pillows though.

Overall its beautiful and nice and staff is indeed polite and friendly. But my bathroom had stains on the floor and wall which wasn’t expected from a hotel of this grandeur.

"Good hotel, but not professional staff"

I had booked a king size bed room, but when i went to check in they said king size room was not available as a big group had come and they took all the king size rooms. So I paid for a king size room but had to settle for a room with two small single beds.

"We keep coming back"

Haven't found (nor have I seriously looked for) an alternative hotel near Kolkata airport. There always seems to be some kind of an issue there (and this time was no exception)...they didn't have a record that we had phoned to request airport pickup...and I still dislike the big square pillows...but, since I know that these things happen...I guess I've learned to deal with them. Breakfast is very good at Swissotel and the staff try to be helpful
