Le Panoramic Boutique Hotel

The highlight of the stay was the host, Gino, the spectacular views of Nice and the location. Gino is knowledgeable and very affable in offering good advice about visiting the surroundings in an efficient manner. His wife Valerie is the quieter gracious counterpart. We had a private terrace from which the views of the city and the surrounding Alps are spectacular. If you want a location that is quiet, yet has easy access to the city and has parking nearby if you have a car, you have found the right spot. Gino was especially helpful about how to find free parking spots in the city. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel. We ordered breakfast at the hotel and did not regret it since Gino makes great croissants. We would definitely recommend the place and would consider it ourselves in the future. If you are arriving late, be sure to communicate this to them.

Business and pleasure on the side

We visited Nice for 1night, whilst traveling to Monaco and chose to stay at this hotel for its location, not in the city centre but a 5minute walk into Nice. We were greeted on arrival, and found everyone friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, clean and tidy with amazing views of the city and Coast. Reception were very attentive and remembered requests and questions we had asked, Thai is only a small boutique hotel, but the personal touches were fantastic! The continental breakfast with home made croissants were amazing, and to sit and have the views too were unbelievable. We will definately be visiting again and staying here.

Wonderful!!!! The host & his wife (can't remember their names) were so helpful. The view was breathtaking...our room was #1 & it was clean & comfortable. We drove (was the first time driving in France) & it is on top of a hill but we made it! We were so happy with our decision to stay there!!!!

I loved this hotel!!! We had one day in Nice and this hotel was the icing on the cake. Very cute and quaint and had a beautiful view over the city. There was a bus stop right at the entrance that took us right to the train station or into the city. The staff was so nice....I would totally stay here again!!!

If you are looking for quiet and cozy place where you can relax after a busy day of sightseeing, this hotel is the place to be at. A very small hotel - only about 6 suites, so even though all rooms were occupied when we were there, it was very quite and never crowded in this hotel. Our room had a nice terrace (probably the nicest out of all the rooms in this hotel) overlooking the town of Nice, so in the evening we liked to sit a the table there with a glass of wine, looking at airplanes taking off and lading at Nice Cote-d'Azur airport, and cruise ships leaving the port and going into the sea. The owners, Gino and Valerie, are very pleasant people and very professional hosts. Before our arrival they sent us the necessary details to help us find the place and get in, and were prompt to respond to our inquiries. During the stay they were very nice and accommodating. The only disadvantage of this place is it's remote location, but it's not very bad. From Nice you can take a tram, and it's a 10 minute ride to the stop closest to the hotel, and from their you either walk (it's a 15 min walk up the hill) if you don't mind a little exersise, or take a bus (although you may have to wait for it for a bit). If you are driving, then the location is not an issue at all, it's a short drive from the city, and there is free parking on the side of the street. Overall, this is a very pleasant hotel that makes you feel relaxed and cozy.

Good location, comfortable room.

Hotel is more off a bed and breakfas, if so. The rooms are next to each other, they gave us room #1 next to kitchen every time they cooked the room stunk like food and it was noisy could hear all the commotion from kitchen. Its also old but clean with a nice view.

Knowledgable staff on sights to see and best places to eat. Where parking is available.

Staying in August and this was a mid-priced option for Nice. Hotel has fantastic views from the dining room / lounge and city facing rooms. My cheaper room faced a stone wall at the side of the property, but I understood that before booking. Staff are helpful and friendly. If arriving late make contact with the owners beforehand to obtain the key code for the gate and front door. Breakfast is a bit overpriced for what you get, but the views compensate. A key advantage is local, free, on-street parking which is at a premium in Nice and usually chargeable at other hotels in the city. A disadvantage is it's up a steep hill and thus quite a long walk (or taxi ride) home if you spend the evening in Nice. The hotel restaurant was closed in August and at other times if bookings are insufficient. There are no obvious convenient local shops to buy provisions.
