Hotel Føroyar

Breakfast is very good.

If you want a true nordic experience, hotel Foroyar is definitely worth visiting. Location is cool, on top of the hill so views are great. Hiking-trails are close-by too. Hotel itself is really clean and staff superfriendly. I think it's important to mention that although city centre is about 20min walk away, it might not be the easiest walk because when coming back, you have to walk up the hill. But there is a taxi service that reacts very quickly.

The hotel is on the outskirts of the city so it's not the most centralized location. If you have a rental car, then it is no problem. The hotel is nicely decorated and very friendly staff. The studio was large enough for our family of four with a large enough kitchenette to make our own breakfast. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

You can stay cheaper other places and anyway book in to the restaurant and spa is open for all visitors, the spa you most pay for enter anyway no matter if u staying or not. Nothing special u can come and take pictures outside the hotel but they are building some things backside so it’s under renovation or construction, also my room nabour was playing hard rock I hear lound when I open my window.

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und müsste eigentlich komplett renoviert werden. Der Preis steht in keinem Verhältnis zum Hotel-Standard. Wir würden dieses Hotel nicht noch einmal buchen.

Great hotel with really excellent staff, wonderful food and in a convenient location. I've stayed several times and would return without doubt.

Scenic though far from the activity in Torshavn. Steep hike to get from town center to hotel with poor signage on the way. Hotel itself is comfortable.
