Hilton Garden Inn South Padre Island Beachfront

The mattress was terrific, however the sink in bathroom backed up, & our tv batteries were low, however the room itself was great!

Great time had by all

We stay here frequently for the location, parking availability and free breakfast

We enjoyed our stay. The boardwalk was great as was the beach

I like the staff, they were really nice and answered questions. What I didn’t like was that I paid for a room with snacks and drinks. On the image it shows different snacks, having kids I paid extra for this. At check in once we got to the room there were no snacks and drinks. I called the front I was told they would call me back after they checked in a guest. I went down the next day and asked. The guy at the front said I could grab 2 sodas and 2 waters and 2 snacks from their store by registration. I mentioned I didn’t get any in the room at check in. He said come back tomorrow at check out. Since they are to be replenish daily I spent 2 nights. At check out on 5/21/2025 I was told no, that the snacks are only one time. He confirmed it with another guy working with him. My understanding per website was different kind of snacks in the room to replenish daily would be at least twice. I actually paid extra just for the convenience of it and I was not given that. So either they lied, or it’s false advertisement and don’t give you what you pay for. Making it Not worth it. And if that’s how it is they should be ashamed of even offering that service , getting paid and not providing it.

It’s clean, walkable, friendly staff, accessible. I didn’t like the smell on some of the hallways .
