The Fenwick Hotel

The waitress during the breakfast was exceptional. Attentive and kind and professional.

Decor awful. Room dark. No toilet roll, which only discovered in the middle of the night. On checking in, the receptionist was on the phone and I had to wait 10 minutes before I was acknowledged. Nowhere to sit whilst I was waiting. There was a chair but there was a sign on it saying don't sit on this chair!. Lighting in the bathroom was so dark. Floor looked dirty and grimy. The room was overlooking g some horrible area. How much does one have to pay these days for a nice hotel??

No room air conditioning and because of noise from nearby busy road could not open windows

Nothing it's the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Took over an hour to check in despite showing them my confirmation and payment , Staff where hostile , unprofessional and RUDE from the second we stepped in the place. Got to the room it stank of smoke with dirty sheets and unclean toilet ..... was very late at night so and couldn't be bothered waiting anymore time for the night staff to try allocate another room . Woke with cleaning staff at 11.05am who acted more like security /police officers , explained to them I had organized a late check out with night staff - met with one basically shouting well you have to pay - " yes I know that " they accused me of saying desk staff didn't know about late check in ...( again not my fault ) ... didn't even get to use our late check out as I just wanted out the place at this point...got to the front desk and woman who basically accused me us of it being OUR FAULT because we could check in from 3pm ....whaattt!??? Your staff are RUDE including you ...we where at a hospital appointment not that we have to explain WHY we didn't check in at 3pm.....LOL we didn't book to 10pm . I have stayed in thousands of hotels in my life and this has to be the worst one I've ever stayed in simply because every single staff member has an attitude problem !! AVOID AVOID AVOID

We ate in the evening at the restaurant and the meal was delicious, as was the breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was a bit noisy if you had the window opened, due to being close to the M77, but you couldn't hear it once the window was closed.

Beautiful large bed and they staff were exceptional. Was great value for money.

A little noise from motorway but it was minimal. We still had a great sleep

Very nice furnishing

The front door was very heavy and trapped my hand with high winds - it hurt a lot. The road was also very noisy but a lot had been done to prevent that
