The Fenwick Hotel

Food was good with a lovely varied menu. We ate both nights in the restaurant and it was lovely. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We have stayed at this hotel a few times as it is a great base for us when visiting family in Ayrshire and Glasgow. We have noticed each time recently that the new owners are refurbishing and very pleased to see this. The hotel has a special meaning to us as we had our wedding reception there 40 years ago and so pleased see these improvements. Everyone involved well done!

Staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good

Some traffic noise. Check in not till 3pm- not ideal when attending a wedding (and couldn’t find time on website) Early check in available but at £10an hour I gave it a miss! Double socket in room smashed and held together with sellotape. Shower virtually unusable either freezing or scalding with little power

all went very well, lovely food and staff

my only only personal grip, as with many hotels I've stayed in recently is the low-level of lighting which I find very poor. As I say this is not only for your hotel but it appears to be many hotels at the moment. Partner is in the bathroom I am unable to see properly to apply my make-up and do my hair.

Breakfast was ok I left early.on the second day, so missed that one
