Auberge aux Deux Lions

Great location - walking distance to the old town and a lot of restaurants nearby. Comfortable room and a nice well equipped kitchen area for guest use as needed. Very quiet.

This place is like a jail. Too many locked doors. Owner said he locks up the office area after 7pm. I checked in around 1pm and by 2pm the door was already locked. Then my room was upstairs. And he said he locks the door going upstairs. So the only way out is go around a tricky passageway and downstairs and out this exit door. The exit door used to be next to the kitchen. It gave me the creeps. Plus the owner has the same rank breath from last summer. He should try a box of mints. The smell is nauseating. I had to stand far away to talk to him. I ended up leaving. I asked him if anyone else was staying there. Place looked empty. He doesn't want to talk to me so he pretends he doesn't understand. Very rude. What's his game? I heard him talking to others in English. Luckily I found a much nicer place at a decent rate.

La chambre était très jolie, tout était fraîchement rénové, et impeccable. Matelas hyper confortable. Central. Stationnement 20$ très commode. Entrée autonome après le check-in. Accès à une jolie cuisinette, et au café le matin. Édifice avec du charme. Le prix hors saison était très raisonnable.

Il faut savoir que si vous avez une chambre face donnant sur la rue René-Lévesque, vous entendrez le bruit de la circulation. Cependant l’auberge est à l’échelle humaine et c’était tranquille à l’intérieur.
