This is a well situated hotel a stone's throw from the Visitor's Center for entrance to Petra. Our room was spacious and airy. The bathroom was clean and the bed very comfortable, both most welcoming after a long, strenuous day touring Petra!

Located 2min from Petra visitor center so a very convenient base for the visit. Nearby restaurants are very touristy and expectably overpriced - more options available up in the town, if you're willing to make the hike. No complaints at all about the property, comfortable, clean and well equipped room. One of the few places where rates don't punish solo travelers that much. Good breakfast from 6am - plenty of options available. Receptionists not exactly enthusiastic but eventually helped whenever I needed, so all in all, I was very happy with my stay!

Location so close to Petra entrance, easy walking distance before the real walk; facilities were good for the price, breakfast was good.

The pictures provided are very misleading as is the description. The rooms are dingy, dated(furniture was chipped, knob came off night stand) , and shoddy construction ( a thin plywood barrier in the the closet separated us from the next room). The room was loud as the door had no seal and large gaps that allowed every sound to enter. One of the perks was free bottled water, but they gave you tiny bottles the first day and that was it. Also did not restock the coffee every day. The rooms tout soaking tubs, but it was a standard bath tub you could not fill up because they disabled the drain plugs. I found out this is a local law due to water shortages, but yet they still advertise it to get bookings. Breakfast was very low quality, but passable. Also check-in was supposed to be at 2pm, but we could not check in until after 2:30. The only plus to this hotel, and I mean the ONLY PLUS, was its location and the staff. It was less than a three minute walk to the ticket entrance to Petra and the staff was generally very helpful. I do not believe this hotel measures up to the quality of Expedia's standards. At the very least they should do something about the false advertising.

The cleaning staff could be more careful - the breakfast didn't change in 4 days and the food is good but not the best. I guess the could do better spending the same amount of money. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

I don’t really have any complaints for Econ Hotel and my three night stay was great. It’s literally a two minute walk from Petra’s entrance which is a major plus! It was hotter than fish grease when I was there, so a short walk back to the hotel and blasting AC felt like heaven. I felt safe, room was comfortable, and clean but maybe a little outdated? But no issue at all, it had all I needed. The younger guy at the front desk tried to be as helpful as possible, despite the several crazy tourists that would hound the front desk all at once. Really professional. Room had a tv, AC, fridge. No room service type stuff but they offered free breakfast (buffet style) as well as a dinner buffet for like 10 dinars when I was there. The wait staff in the restaurant were also really kind and helpful. If i every come back to Wadi Musa I won’t hesitant booking with Edom!

It is value for money , good *** Hotel. The best part is its location. The inhouse boufet meals are great. Wi fi works fine.
