Hotel Keilir by Reykjavik Keflavik Airport

Location was good, close to everything. Very clean and shuttle to airport was very convenient.

Bed was uncomfortable

Dicht bij luchthaven. 5 min met auto. Parkeren voor hotel. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Kamer grootte was prima. Helaas wel koud water met douchen en er lag nog zeep van de vorige gast. Maar voor een nachtje ivm vroege vlucht prima. Uitzicht op zee is ook leuk.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The service was completely unacceptable. The front desk staff was extremely rude, unprofessional, and clearly not suited for working in hospitality. Instead of helping guests, they made the experience frustrating and unpleasant. The situation at breakfast was no better. The staff there seemed unprepared and uninterested in doing their job properly. The quality of the breakfast was extremely poor and far below what you would expect from a 3-star hotel. It was obvious that the hotel is poorly managed and understaffed. The only positive point was one young staff member who was working hard and trying to handle everything alone, working hard and managing multiple tasks efficiently. which shows how badly the place is being run. Overall, this hotel does not deserve its rating at all. I strongly advise others to avoid this place — there are far better options available.
