Tussock Peak Lodge

This motel was great. Our room was really clean and spacious and the reception staff were so helpful, with advice on restaurants, picnic spots, walks and when best to visit the water park. They went out of their way to help, and allowing a couple of extra hours parking after checkout was very helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this motel

The room was nice and had nice arm chairs to sit on.

One side of the electric blanket wouldn't work which I reported the following morning, I was told a long winded story about their insurance and that they were going to get rid of electric blankets, I asked if they could put another electric blanket on the bed while we were swimming and was told NO, I did remind her that we booked here because they said all their beds were fitted with electric blankets which is also in the compendium in the room. We went for a swim and returned to a note on our bench telling us she had had two single electric blankets put on the bed. I should have been told it wasn't a problem when I first reported it, not given a story about the insurance.

Situated opposite the hot pools and within walking distance to all amenities. The room was clean and warm (thank you for turning the heat pump on prior to my arrival, as it had been snowing). I received a bottle of milk so I could have lovely hot drinks whilst popping my feet up for the evening. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Parking available. The shower had good water pressure.
