Rocca Di Monreale

We really liked this B&B, the hosts were so kind and answered all of our questions, helped us order pizza, and explained how to get to Palermo. We could check -in late, depart early, and we could borrow their handheld vacuum to clean our rental car a bit :) They were happy to help whenever we needed it, and thank you very much for that! It is a beautiful multi-generational building, we liked the whole site. The views are amazing with the mountains/ hills around, the homemade breakfast was super, and we even liked the authentic breakfast room with all those family decorations. The parking was a huge positive point, if everyone parks nicely it can accommodate at least 5 cars or more. We got a bigger room even though I think we paid for a double room, so it was a nice surprise, and it was clean too. Plus, personally, I feel so bad forgetting the name of the lady who was welcoming us, We really appreciate that she was speaking in English with us. After travelling around Sicily and experiencing how people in Sicily don't or don't like to speak in English, it was good to experience that someone is willing to talk. :)

It was tricky to find, the GPS, the weird Sicilian road solutions, and the steep hilly streets did not help, but this was compensated by the beautiful views.

Beautiful, clean hotel with parking. AMAZING breakfast! The host was very accommodating and welcoming.

The hosts were very nice and provided a nice breakfast each day of home baked dolces and made nice coffees. Very nicely renovated suites with panoramic views of Palermo and easy access to Monreale. A good choice if you have a car and want to do day trips from here. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Way to go Rocce di Monreale !!

The place is amazing. I wish I could’ve stayed longer than one night. The house, the apartment, the view over Palermo, the surrounding area, everything was just beautiful, it felt like a fairy tale. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from the Sicilian craziness and just relax in the mountains.

There is nothing that I didn’t like.

The breakfast offered an exceptional array of home baked goods in addition to the traditional Italian breakfast. Having breakfast on the terrace with that view of Palermo was very memorable.

The B&B is a little hard to find. Other than that, it’s exceptional.

A bit off the beaten track, but only a 8 minute drive to the the Old Town. Nice terrace, good room, generous breakfast.

The scenery around the property was breathtaking. The host was so sweet and couldn’t have been more accommodating . Breakfast was many home made delicious cakes and other sweets,fresh deli meats, yogurt, fresh fruit and more. Parking is private and gated which is a huge plus and hard to find. The location is central to everything. Loved loved LOVED our stay
