We recently stayed at this hotel on our trip to Normandy. The hotel is in a great location close to the American Cemetary and Omaha Beach. The hotel itself was not in the best shape but certainly not run down or dirty. We had excellent food there but amazingly staff did not speak English. It was pretty difficult to communicate with the hotel to order food and drink or ask basic questions. That however, made it a fun challenge to get what you want. Overall the staff were great and very helpful when needed. I would recommend and would stay there again.

Large, spacious, spotlessly clean room. Beds made up, towels changed daily. Cheap, satisfying continental breakfast buffet (croissants, pastries, bread, cereals, cheese, cold cuts, preserves, juice, tea/coffee/choc/milk) optional per person per day. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and very patient to someone with minimal French language ability!! Great location in the centre of all major D day beach sites and near to town of Bayeaux for Abbey and Tapestry. Be warned however, many websites still show pictures of the outdoor swimming pool at the hotel. This has been filled in for some years now and used as an outdoor dining area !! Beach is very close indeed though and is huge, sandy and water is lovely.

Room was very clean and ample. Staff at front desk was very friendly. Loks like room had been renovated not too long ago. Room had a hair dryer with a large walk in shower.

Loved it!! Only wished I could have stayed another night. The young miss waited for us to check in late. She was very kind and wonderful. The hotel is awesome and made us feel like we were staying with relatives. I will def recommend staying here!!!!

Staff very polite and at tentative to guest needs. Quiet hotel in a very scenic part of normandy. Quiet good night sleep.

Would not stay here again. No elevator so getting luggage to the room was quite an experience the steps are curved so difficult with luggage. Wifi did not work and no one there cared or bothered to help. In today's travels how can that be her answer was that her computer worked fine. Such an attitude about everything not at all inviting.

Wonderful staff. Great location. Across the street from a good d_day museum. Great food. Highly recommend it.

We stayed in room #16 for two nights. This is a large handicapped room and I am not handicapped. The bathroom has a toilet so high that my legs didn’t touch the floor when I sat on it and I am 5’ 9”. There are twin beds, a night stand on each side of the bed, one chair, a desk with a small stool, and a closet with shelves. The bathroom has an open shower with easy wheelchair access. There is space next to the sink for toiletries. Eating in the room and washing your clothes in the room are not allowed. The reception staff was very friendly. It is located outside the town area of Colleville sur Mer and very close to the American Cemetery and Gold Beach.

We only spent one night here but were very happy with this hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious, location was great being only a mile or two from the American Cemetery. Great restaurant on site but only down side was that they were not open for dinner. Also had trouble with WIFI but other than that I would highly recommend this place.
