The Esplanade Motel & Conference Centre

Room was spacious, sofa was a bit uncomfortable, kitchen was excellent. Bed comfortable, lounge clean and tidy .

Was a good shower , with good pressure, unfortunately the shower had mould around the corners.

Nice room. Had plenty of heating to keep warm. Everyone enjoyed the spa bath. Beds were comfortable. Just a really good affordable accomodation

- the door is difficult to open from the outside, particularly if you do not inform the occupants about how to open it - THIS WAS NOT DONE - the door is also difficult to lock from the inside at night. We found we had to bodily push it, then turn the lock, otherwise it did not lock - there was food left in the freezer box of the fridge which was not ours. Clearly whoever cleaned the room prior to our arrival had not checked the fridge/freezer - the cold tap in the bathroom. If you use the cold tap in the bathroom sink, you cannot turn it off fully as it keeps running. It needed to be turned off most of the way only. I would suggest this is why the toilet roll was sodden to the core and there was a large amount of water inside the bathroom cabinet (the lady who came to the unit saw it). I could have called you at 5am when I found it to come and sort it out, but I didn't - the window in the downstairs bedroom only has one latch and does not close. This was not ideal on the cold nights. The heater had to be left on all night to compensate When I returned to the unit yesterday afternoon, I called on the guest phone and got the recorded message "leave a message and we will contact you". At no time did you attempt to contact me. I had no missed calls. It was not until I finished my walk that I noted the office door open. You made NO effort to address my concerns, instead you (the man), "I have more important things to do".

The set of the room it was nice and big and a lot of space. It was relaxing and roomy. Everything was good and I like how there was an extra bed and a place you could go rest and close the door for quiet time
