Avaton Resort and Spa

My wife and I stayed 5 nights at Avaton and I have to say we had an amazing time. It is a fantastic hotel with a stunning location and a great team who can’t do enough to make you comfortable and relaxed. A great range of restaurants within walking distance and a lovely spa. Thanks to all of the team for making our holiday so amazing!

Avaton Resoert and Spa is the perfect place in Santorini to enjoy calmness, peace, relaxation, and the perfect spot to view the sunset. Our balcony is in the line of site to the sunset. You don't have to go to Oia to view it perfectly. Avaton being located in Imerovigli, is in the middle of Oia and Fira and this makes it a perfect place to enjoy everything which includes hiking to Skaros Rock, walk to Fira, and hike to Oia. The whole staff is really great and they really treated us very special. I can say that this is the best hotel we've ever stayed so far in our years of traveling. I can also attest that all the many positive reviews in here are true. Thanks Avaton for making our vacation one of the best.

We had a wonderful time at Avaton resort and spa. The staff went out of their way to make us feel incredibly welcome and were also very friendly. The rooms were modern but still had that Santorini feel. We ordered room service a couple of times and the smoked salmon sandwich (bagel) is to die for. We loved the location, we felt like we were the only hotel on the island. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a romantic stay in a beautiful place.

This place is amazing. The view is just like it looks in the pictures. The staff is great, and friendly! The breakfast is amazing and personalized every morning for their guests. They bring it to your room! It's in walking distance (40 min) from the capital and a little town. The only thing I would have changed differently is that there is no privacy in the bathroom and shower. The toilet only has a glass door, and it is separate from the shower that was the only con. The food at the restaurant is good and the pool area is amazing both inside and out. We would definitely go back!

Better than we thought it would be, although it was very difficult to find...we parked far away down the hill and had to carry all of our luggage. That was not fault of the hotel though. Daily breakfast is awesome, although there was a mix-up on our last day so our breakfast was late. The hosts/concierges were helpful and attentive. Wonderful views from the resort, and fun walks to the different parts of the island. An outdoor jacuzzi/spa would make the place even better though. Regardless, we plan on returning for another visit in a couple of years.

Great staff, rooms and spa, but when weather is windy it is probably one of the most exposed spots on the island.

Wow, we were blown away by everything here.....the staff, the accommodations, the food, the spa, the location. This is one of the newer hotels in the area so everything was nice, well designed and clean. If you're looking for one on one service it really doesn't get any better than this. Panos and the entire staff are there for your every need. We almost felt like we had personal concierge service. They helped us with transportation arrangements, dinner reservations and every little thing we had a question on. The view from everywhere in the hotel is amazing. It's the perfect sunset spot, at least in July when we were there. The overall experience felt like a second honeymoon for us and it's one of the places that you'll will always want to come back to. Loved it!

Fantastic location with stunning views of the Caldera. Really great service from all the friendly staff - and excellent breakfasts. A really lovely boutique hotel!
