Hotel Restaurant Café Uhl

This hotel is exactly what we were looking for in Rothenburg! It has that quaint Frankish feel, and Robert and his family were so welcoming and friendly. The room was very spacious with a lovely view of the valley! The breakfast had a good variety of meats, cheeses and jams to go along with the fresh buns or croissants. We had afternoon coffee and cake there, and I would highly recommend the Poppyseed cake! Dinner there was also exceptional and I think I had the best tasting sauerkraut ever. We stayed for four nights and walked all through and around Rothenburg. It really is a beautiful town and staying at the Uhl just complimented the trip! We would certainly stay there again!

We thought the food was excellent and Robert's English was helpful when we needed directions. Also, We found everything we wanted to see was within walking distance.

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was ok. Bake shop better.

This hotel wasn't your typical hotel but it was clean nice and friendly staff and the city and location it's at is without questions beautiful.

I found this hotel at last minute rush based on price and rating I was not disappointed. It is located in the far south end of the old city, so it is a fair walk from bus or train station if you have heavy lugguage but Am Poelein is one of the most picturesque streets in Rothenburg and for me it was worth the walk. My room faces the valley with beautiful view. Room interior a bit old but has traditional charm. Free breakfast a plus, but no free internet or free WiFi. At this price it is unbeatable. Definitely recommended

We stayed on the top floor, which had the cutest windows that opened out onto the main street, which is mostly only walking traffic. we loved sticking our head out to see what was happening. To get to our room we walked up a fun little staircase for the last level.We stayed in a triple room. The bathroom was very modern. The bakery is right below and breakfast was included. We sat on the back balcony of the restaurant for drinks a few times to relax, beautiful views.

Exceptional hotel and staff. Our room had a wonderful view of the Tauber valley. The cafe had the best Schneeball we've eaten in Germany. Excellent breakfast buffet.
