Easy to find and secure parking small but very tidy room good breakfast and so close to all major buildings

Pros: The place is located right in the center of the town. They have their own parking garage (for 8 euro per night) The shower in the room was totally new and very nice Cons: The room itself was a bit outdated (but it does has certain charm to it) The only thing that separates the toilet from the room itself is a sliding glass door. The bed sheets were with holes and the towels were worn and old. The room was really cold during the night. The staff is not nice. The food is not good (in the whole town).

We were given an entire apartment! Very clean. The breakfast was outstanding - fresh rolls(crusty on outside, yet soft in middle), good choice of meats and cheeses. Nice service.

Firstly, the location is fantastic...right by the town wall in the beautiful Rothenburg Altstadt and a few mins walk to Marktplatz. Next, it should be stated that this is a restaurant/guesthouse, not a hotel. We arrived late in the evening - having phoned to say we would be late - and the proprietor was waiting for us to show us our accommodation, this was in another building, 5 mins walk away. That was a slight disadvantage but the accommodation was fantastic...we had 2 'rooms' (my husband and I and our son, who's in his 20s) only they were studio apartments rather than rooms. We were only there for 1 night but could easily have stayed a week...separate sitting and eating areas, kitchens and very roomy and comfortable bedrooms. Also private parking and outside sitting areas. Breakfast was served back down in the café, which was fine on the sunny day that we were there but probably not so fine in the pouring rain. Very good value for money and we would definitely stay again.

We had a studio apartment, a couple of hundred metres way from the main hotel/cafeteria building. The apartment was spacious, modern and very clean. The location is very central with all areas of the old town within a short walking distance. The breakfast in the cafeteria was varied and tasty.

We were traveling with 4 people, got a very nice spacy double room with upstaires and downstairs area. Housing is 3 min walk from the cafe Uhl and the famius Rothenburg view, but very conveniently located in a quiet street, so tourist noise does not disrupt. Breakfast is continental. Hotel is offering a parking, but there are additional fees charged for it. Overall excelent stay, we will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.

Put us in a room a quarter mile away. Too far when we took room because of location

Brilliantly easy to access just inside the old city. Very easy check-in, as our car was double parked in front of the hotel. A staff member joined us and directed us to the enclosed, key locked, garage a block away. On leaving, we picked up the car and dropped the key back off, by driving by the cafe and handing it to a staff member, who was taking a food order at an outdoor table. Our front facing room was comfortable, but was noisy from the cars entering and exiting the city. Also a midnight closing bar was just a few doors away, which created a bit of noise from late patrons. The breakfast buffet was a cold buffet, but had a reasonable amount of choice. Staff was very friendly overall!
