Muir Lodge Motel

Been staying there for years and this past time especially was not very good. No maid service even though we had maid service on door. Just not as good as we are used to the last few visits

I was able to check in effectively at a late time. Solid shower.

Didn’t like the lighting in the room, thin walls, cleaning staff talking really loud and banging things around while they were about to clean the room next door in the morning before my check out time.. all three of them talking loudly non stop.

Old style motel, like a Travelodge, but meticulously updated for a pleasant modern stay. Short walk to coffee, restaurants, and the Muir house.

Nice place

Our stay was fantastic. Clean, nice rooms. Big nice TV. Free water which is always appreciated. Only complaint was one of the rooms smelled of cigarettes. They did offer to move our room. Great service.

Nice renovated rooms, pool

Our room was recently completely renovated. Close to everything. Price was very reasonable for what you got. Now have an excellent place to stay when we’re in the east bay. Very pleased.
