SpringHill Suites by Marriott Durham Chapel Hill

The first two days we were there we had no air conditioning. We explained to them that we didn’t have it. They didn’t get it fixed. We even talked to the general manager. Who said that it would be taken care of. They wanted us to switch rooms, but we had all of our Christmas presents all of our stuff in our room so we couldn’t. We were trying to spend time with our family. The third day we would’ve had a big Christmas which was the 25th so after that we did switch rooms and then we ended up not having very good water pressure. They came in and tried to fix it, but just ended up rigging it. Also, the elevator was for several days. I understand that it was a holiday, but after the holiday, when we left today, it was still broke. Talk about a huge inconvenience..

It was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The bottles of water to purchase were too expensive and at breakfast there was no bread for toast to go with the eggs and sausage.

Stay was great, convenient location with friendly staff and great layout in room!! Older Kids could walk to food spots and bar was great! Renee the bartender was amazing!!!

Renee :) is the best bartender! Her drinks are exceptional and gives the best customer service and makes sure to keep her clients safe and happy! If you come by, stop by the bar and take a sip of her top notch drinks she makes.

All I’m going to say is that Ms.Renee who works the bar and pretty much everything else in the hotel is an absolute rockstar the drinks were a solid 11/10 the customer service was even better 10/10 recommend and will definitely return

Renee is the best she needs to make 6 figures and the fact that she does not make 6 figures angers me great place because of her make sure you see her at the bar
