"Angoloumi visit"

"more suitable for the business traveller "

It suited, wanted to be centrally based. Was not thrilled to carry my case upstairs since NO lift. TV only offered 3 channels which I thought was poor. No facilities for T/coffee or mini bar in the room. Room was well designed capsule, shower was good. Clean, smart, impersonal. Comfortable bed. Checked in, checked out.

"Comfy beds"

We have stayed here before with excellent service, unfortunately this stay the morning receptionist was confused about our straight forward bill and caused us as delay.frustrating .

"Better than I had expected!"

The hotel was easy to find, room was spotless and bed was extremely comfortable. This was a perfect hotel for a quick stopover on our way driving to Spain. Would recommend.

"Larochefoucalde"

In over 40 years of European travel, this was the first Ibis >Hotel, selected for its location, etc. Surprisingly, for a so called 'budget' hotel, it was certainly not bad!

"Very good value, service and food"

Excellent view from bedroom window, good nights sleep. Informal and welcoming book in, lovely reasonably priced food and extremely helpful, friendly staff. A little gem. I won't be using franchise Etap or similar hotels again. Not with Logis to explore with

"Good for one night stopover. Reduced rate weekend."

Quiet room- near main roads, but good sound insulation. Clean room, comfortable bed, good shower. Easy to find, OK restaurant nearby. Town centre a long way away, though.

"Ibis Angouleme Nord"

Typical Ibis but situated on the edge of a run down industrial estate. Reception staff varied from reticent to extremely helpful, not all spoke English. Room very small but with good air conditioning and BBC World News.
