Carra Beag Guest House

Der Empfangs- sowie Aufenthalts- und Frühstücksraum sind schön eingerichtet, hat sehr viel Charme. Absolutes Highlight: die Gastgeber. Mark ist ein sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter und lustiger Guest House Besitzer mit sehr hilfreichen Restaurant-Empfehlungen, für die wir sehr dankbar waren und die wir gerne in Anspruch genommen haben. Wir hatten in der Nacht ein kleines Problem mit der Alarmanlage, was sich leider nicht so schnell lösen ließ. Er hat sich am Morgen danach mehrfach ehrlich entschuldigt und uns eine Teilerstattung der Übernachtungskosten angeboten. Das Frühstück war wirklich hervorragend!! Man kann sich am Vorabend zwei Frühstücks-„Gerichte“ aus einer Karte aussuchen, welche am Morgen dann frisch zubereitet werden. Es hat einfach sehr gut geschmeckt und es hatte alles was es brauchte. Auch wenn die Nacht wegen dem Alarmanlagen-Fauxpas etwas wild war, würden wir das Carra Beag Guest House jedem empfehlen, der in Pitlochry eine Unterkunft sucht.

Etwas hellhörig, gerade in den unteren Zimmern. Teppichboden in den Zimmern, was jedoch wiederum Geräusche unterdrückt.

Tout d'abord, l'emplacement de la guest house est parfait pour rayonner sur Pitlochry, car elle se situe à 2 mn à pied du centre. De fait, la maison est au calme, dans un quartier résidentiel. Notre chambre était très confortable et douillette, avec vue sur les montagnes et le jardin. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux, plus que complet et le choix très large. Sans parler de l'accueil et de la gentillesse du maître de maison qui était aux petits soins durant tout notre séjour. Nous avons passé un séjour des plus agréables. Dommage que nous ne soyons restés qu'une seule nuit

The location was excellent, the rooms were comfortable and so well equipped including a coffee machine as well as a kettle. A bottle of water was provided and little extras like dressing gowns and slippers. There was complimentary cake in the lounge and biscuits and chocolates in the room. The host Mark was very welcoming.

My whole experience at Carra Beag was amazing. Breakfast choice and presentation was wonderful. My single room had a great view, was super clean and new mattress so comfy. Added touches of sherry and cake is an inspiring touch and appreciated and fully enjoyed. Host Mark was super efficient . Definitely will return when next in Pitlochry. Thank you Carra Beag.

What a fantastic weekend stay at Carra Beag, wonderful hosts who really care about your guest experience. Welcoming lounge for guests to use -complete with complimentary cake and sherry was a lovely touch. We stayed the weekend to take part in the Caledonia Etape cycle and were surprised and delighted to find out that a cooked breakfast would be available at 5am for all of us taking part- another lovely touch that was over and above expectations. Nice choice for cooked breakfast elements all beautiful prepared. Rooms well provisioned, robes and slippers and really nice toiletries including local Highland Soap Company. Such a great place to stay we’re booked already for next year!
